Warning About MCI Rate Plans
MCI has a history of failing to notify its customers on a timely basis of changes to its rate plans. As a result, every aspect of MCI's rate plans provided on this web site should be considered suspect.

MCI Anytime Advantage [Wayback archive]

This program offer a rate of 7¢ per minute on all state-to-state calls, as well as in-state and local toll calls. Local toll calls are 5¢ a minute in California. The monthly fee is $3.95.

This program offer a rate of 7¢ per minute on all state-to-state calls, as well as in-state and local toll calls. There is a 35¢ connection fee per call but no monthly charge or minimum.

MCI One Net Savings [Wayback archive]

This program offers a rate of 5¢ or 9¢ per minute on state-to-state calls, depending on time of day and day of week. There is no monthly fee for this plan, but there is a $6.00 monthly minimum charge (raised from $5.00 effective 6/1/2002). Note that this program generally has higher in-state rates than the other MCI calling plans listed on this page.

The monthly fee of $10.95 includes 200 minutes of state-to-state calls. On the standard Select 200 plan, only calls during off-peak (evening and weekend) hours are part of the included minutes. On the Select 200 Weekdays plan, only calls during peak (daytime weekday) hours are part of the included minutes.
